Raising funds for a gender-fluid, non-violent whodunit game

Earlier this week, I launched my first Kickstarter to raise funds for a print version of a mystery game I designed. It’s called Who Stole the Prize Pie? and is a non-violent, gender-fluid whodunit party game made for everyone and anyone. Like a murder mystery but without the murder!

I was inspired to create this game after trying to find a murder mystery to play with friends and family that didn’t have gender tropes and awkward romances to navigate. When I couldn’t find one, I decided to create one. From there, the idea of a thievery was born.

Why a Kickstarter?

Who Stole the Prize Pie? will be available to purchase in digital format but I’d also like to have a print version available too. In order to raise funds to do a print run, I decided to launch a Kickstarter.

The Kickstarter has several pledge options available to purchase digital and print versions of the game. Plus, there are also two tiers that offer brand exposure on social channels and/or in the game itself.

How can you help?

As a one-woman shop who is also juggling a full-time job, it’s a stretch to do all I can to promote the Kickstarter. Any and all help to get the word out is much appreciated! Here are some ways you can help amplify:

  • Share the Kickstarter on social media
  • Leave a comment on the project
  • Bookmark/like the project on Kickstarter
  • Make a pledge on Kickstarter

Thank you for your ongoing support!
