The dialogue podcast, called Talk Dialogue to Me, was a strategic initiative to promote the art and practice of dialogue while also increasing understanding of the Centre for Dialogue’s mission. We embarked on this venture after hearing from our audiences that they didn’t fully understand our mission and that the more they became involved with the Centre, the better they understood what we were all about. We also heard from leadership that they wanted to create global buzz around dialogue. The first season of our podcast would help get us closer to achieving both.

Talk Dialogue to Me was a collaboration between the communications and knowledge & practice teams at SFU’s Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue. My role as lead of the communications team was to project manage and act as executive producer. I also edited audio and designed landing pages. In my role, I also:

  • Facilitated visioning for the podcast and co-developed the theme for season one
  • Created a project framework and timeline for season one
  • Delegated tasks and reviewed all materials
  • Designed the SFU website landing page layouts
  • Recruited the host and interviewees for season one
  • Edited and exported audio for season one episodes
  • Uploaded all season one content to Podbean
  • Created and executed a launch strategy for the pilot episode and season one

The podcast ultimately received glowing reviews from members of our network and supported our larger strategy of increasing visibility and understanding of the organization’s mission.
