About Who Stole the Prize Pie?
Who Stole the Prize Pie? is designed to be easy to run and playable by anyone 10 or older. Unlike most murder mystery party games, all characters are gender-flexible and there are no romantic relationships among them. This makes the game playable by all types of groups from colleagues and students to friends and family. Plus, with no assigned genders, anyone can play any character!
The game is played in-person and follows 8 to 12 characters through two rounds as they investigate and accuse each other to find out who among them is the pie thief. In each round, players are given character-specific objectives that reveal clues to the thief’s identity. After round two, three pieces of evidence are circulated before players make their final accusations.
Kid-friendly
Want to play with younger kids? With the free kid-friendly expansion pack, you’ll have access to “assistant” characters who have more relaxed objectives. These relaxed roles play alongside the main characters and are perfect for anyone who may need or want a smaller role, such as younger children or people who don’t like role-playing games but want to be included.
